Stain Resistent Treatment

Ruggism Stain Resistant Treatment creates an invisible and long lasting coating to prevent stains from the most common spills.

We offer stain resistant treatment on Wool, Silk, Bamboo Silk, Linen. All our custom, made-to-order rugs can be treated.
Our wall-to-wall rugs for Hospitality projects are also a great use-case for this.

The treatment creates bonding directly with the fibre to prevent damage so the treatment stays most active for 1 year.

Due to regular use, dry cleaning, wear and tear, its effectiveness starts to decrease over time.

We do not provide a guarantee that the rug will not get stains. The treatment is supposed to provide an additional layer of security.

No, the treatment is invisible and transparent, and does not affect the color, look and feel of the rug.

• Do not rub the affected area of your rug.
• Place a clean tissue or an absorbent cloth over the spill and allow it to soak up the liquid.
  Remove the wet tissue or absorbent cloth and repeat if still wet.
• Gently dab the affected area to remove any remaining liquid. Let the rug dry naturally. Wipe once with a clean damp tissue or cloth to remove all traces of the spill.
• It is best to clean the stain immediately after the spill, letting the tissue to soak the liquid and not allowing it to be absorbed by the rug.
